Mobile window tinting is a great way to protect your vehicle's interior from harmful UV rays and keep it cooler during hot summer days. However, once you've invested in window tinting, it's important to maintain it properly to ensure it looks great and continues to provide the benefits you desire. Here are some dos and don'ts to keep in mind when maintaining your mobile window tinting.

The Dos

Do clean with care: When cleaning your tinted windows, use a mild soap and a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Avoid using ammonia-based cleaners or rough materials that could scratch the tint.

Do use a protector: I use a microfiber towel and "Meguiar's Quik Detailer Mist & Wipe" on the inside of the window to keep the tint looking new and prevent it from scratching. I have 1 microfiber only use it on the inside, a microfiber will not scratch the tint however it will pick something up that will. So it is a good idea to use new microfiber on the inside.

The Don'ts

Don't use abrasive materials: Avoid using abrasive materials such as steel wool or harsh chemicals that can damage the tint and cause it to peel or bubble.

Don't roll down windows too soon: After getting your windows tinted, wait at least 2-3 days before rolling them down to allow the tint to fully adhere to the glass.

Don't use sharp objects: Refrain from using sharp objects near the window tint, as they can scratch and damage the film.
There is a scratch-resistant coating on our films making them the hardest films on the market but they're not as hard as glass.

Regular maintenance and care are essential for preserving the appearance and functionality of your window tinting. By following these dos and don'ts, you can ensure that your tinted windows continue to enhance the look and comfort of your vehicle for years to come.
